Thank you to everyone who joined in the celebration of a place that is full of laughter, care and comfort, while delivering world-class paediatric hospice programming. We hope you enjoyed the “fairy tale quality” of Emily’s House Celebrates “Where Love Lives” a Gala at Casa Loma, on June 8th.
In all, over $336,000 were raised, towards a new Emily’s House Garden and Outdoor Upgrades at our children’s hospice, as well as “Days of Care at Emily’s House” for children with a life-limiting illness. Work on the Emily’s House garden began the morning after the gala event.
These kids want to play outside, go on excursions, participate in therapeutic / recreational play, while being as medically stable and comforted as possible in our hospice home. With Emily’s House as a home base and our wide range of compassionate hospice programs, all this and more is possible, for children and youth in our care. With thanks to everyone who participated, your support is helping Emily’s House kids experience: “where love lives.”
